The Art of Layering Necklaces
How to combine chains and pendants for a look that feels effortless and personal.

A layered neckline is one of the simplest ways to make jewellery feel personal. The secret is contrast — in length, weight and texture.
Vary the lengths
Start with a collar or short chain around 40 cm, add a pendant at 45 cm, and finish with a longer chain at 50 cm or more. Leaving a few centimetres between each keeps them from tangling.
Mix weights and textures
Pair a flat herringbone or snake chain with a delicate cable chain and a single focal pendant. One statement piece is usually enough; let the others play a supporting role.
